I make sound for a living, in three or four ways depending on how you count. Bands, records, live events, and the occasional circus.

I lead with musician and sound designer, because that part doesn't change. The rest is how it pays: records and immersive mixes at Fool's Gold, audio and streaming for conferences, scores for circus and theater, and two books about Logic. Underneath all of it is the same question — whether the emotion actually lands. That's most of what I'm listening for.
